As far as I'm aware he is still technically on loan to Birmingham until the end of the month so can't play for Fulham.

and the transfer window isn't open either. So Jay can't play for Fulham this season. Just like Vil Sinisalo can't play/be on the bench for Villa in the Premiership even in the games Martinez was out.

Nor can Ben Chrisene be on the bench for Villa. He would be on Monday if their injury crisis continues at the current level.

The operation of the rules is now different from the days when Ryan Taylor finished his loan at City on the last day of the league season but went on to score the winning goals at Wembley in the the play off final for his parent club Rotherham.

Its now like the Harry Smith situation 2 seasons ago- the loan could end, he went back to Orient but because the transfer window was shut he couldn't play for Orient.

I preferred the old rules.

He reminds me very much of Jamie Vardy. The type of player you want in your team and hate playing against.
Is that the same Jamie Vardy rumoured to be going to Hollywood; I mean Wrexham.

I’ve just seen him in the Globe at Sampford Peverell, looks very much like he’s on his hols.

Says he hopes to be in the Fulham first team squad next year.

Love The Globe me.
I’ve never been to Sampford Peverell but I have been to both Dubai and Vegas.
Although I’m not inclined to tell you what I did there.
