Exeter, who saw fit to bring the No 9 shirt out of retirement for Jay to wear.
An excellent article but I do feel a bit sorry for Ben Seymour being written out of history.
Wrote himself out history tbf with those "performances"

Thanks for that G-n-H.

What a class act Mr Stelling is. And what a well brought up, polite young chap Jay seems too.

In Mr S's words, "Adam would be proud".

Ben has gone down in History in our club, the longest serving striker to find the net.

I recall a mate, popping on Les Awful to score first. It was in a local bookie and he only got 4/1!

Les did actually get the first goal...but disallowed!

I feel silly posting such a silly story on such a thread about an incredible story!

In Mr S's words, "Adam would be proud".
Stelling recounts that he used to say 'Lisa would be proud' when announcing Adam had scored on SSN, and that he would be retiring that catchphrase instead using 'Adam would be proud' when (not if) Jay scored. I wonder if Jay was thinking WTF's Lisa during that?
