You cant play JB atm.
Until he makes a plea, he can. Adam Johnson & Ched Evans both continued playing for their clubs until conviction. Many others have also done so.

That maybe true but the Club has already made it clear that JB won't be selected until legal proceedings have been concluded and then I guess it will depend on what the outcome of those are. So for the time being at least we just have to move on. Our forwards are Sam Nombe, Jay Stansfield and James Scott and that's it. End of.

Bollix to your "end of" ! As Red Bill so eloquently put it,. this is a forum for opinions. It is not for you to decree what people may or may not post. Yes the Club may have taken a decision, but that does not mean they cannot subsequently change that if they feel so inclined. Ignoring that it is JB, then for any individual if they plead not guilty, then they are innocent until a summary conviction takes place. If a trial is delayed for "administrative reasons", and subsequently referred by the Magistrates to the Crown Court, many months can pass before the outcome. At what point do you think it becomes unreasonable to suspend a player from playing given that ultimately they could be found not guilty ? At what point do the Club consider that they may become vulnerable to a restraint of trade or loss of earnings claim being brought by their employee ? There is no hard and fast rule covering the situation, only a position taken by the Club which may or may not come under review.

He's not suspended. He's just not being selected. Read the club statement.

Don't you start up with bleeding semantics Isca, suspended, not selected, whatever, the result is the same, he is not in the team. Until the court case happens, the only "sin" that he has definitely been guilty of, is being out on the p*$$ late at night. Footballers are young men, and history tells us those at Exeter City are no exception when it comes to having a "skinfull" on a night out. So effectively he is being punished, so how long should this go on for, whilst waiting for the law to get it's act together and a trial to take place. In effect the Club are deeming him guilty in the meantime.

Never mind a barn door, after Tuesday night he's busy trying to find a bag of cement to trap.
