Re: liam sercombe

alright then,

I will pose you a question considering you have all the answers,

is Sercombe better than Carlisle ? if so why ?
Liam plays for a L1 side. Wayne can't get into a L2 side. As ******** would say. Simples

Re: liam sercombe

They are different types of player so that kind of comparison is futile. You may as well compare, say Moxey or Kellow

Carlisle lacks drive, he doubted his own ability so much that he chose to go down the A380 to play BSP football rather than stay put and play L2 football.

Re: liam sercombe

Funny though, he managed to turn in a decent effort against Leeds.

It's turning into inconsistency/when he's in the mood.
agree. but if im going to be ultra picky he's the kind of player that plays a good game on a good pitch. today was a sh*te pitch..i know its the same for both players but they had no playmaker either.

Re: liam sercombe

if my memory serves me correctly he chose a 2 year deal at torquay rather the 1 year deal at city,

can one argue with that ?

You're the one giving answers. I'm the one asking the questions and countering your argument.

I can't actually answer the question, Carlisle is a right winger. Sercombe is a centre midfielder. I would say Sercombe has more potential, is more adaptable, has a better shot and defends better. Wayne has a better cross though.

Yeah, me and many other Grecians. I would prefer a footballer to have enough belief that he would expect to perform well enough to extend the 1 year deal. Instead he showed Exeter his heels and is now ocassionally plying his trade with Torquay.

Re: liam sercombe

maybe he has a family to think of and the 2 year deal was the only option

His choice, merely saying that it's something which I don't agree with and, IMO, displays a lack of desire.
