I agree the egos of the celeb chefs can take over but I look through that to the recipes and the one I referred to is a very good one. Would probably taste even better in a sunny Med climate
Watched a few of their shows over the years but their trip around the Mediterranean was a particular highlight. Practically every dish looked mouth-watering. Not sure about the salted Cod but I've never tried it to be fair

I had not realised that Michael Jayston passed away in February. A great actor who was brilliant in the original Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy alongside Alec Guinness. His character was played by a different actor in the follow up (Smiley’s People) and was nothing like as good. Also appeared in Dr Who, Only Fools and Horses, Emmerdale etc

I re-watch TTSS every year in the winter. TV at its finest.

Legend

I've often found myself watching the old re-runs of Bullseye on 'Challenge TV'. Even just listening to the jobs people had back then has changed so much since then. A different world. I loved watching the darts at Lakeside on the BBC where he commentated for years too.

Reading his obituary he did a lot of voiceover work in the 80s and 90s. When adverts were ‘ard!!!!

I know his son. He'll be devastated...as we all are. RIP
