Must be hard for them to take never producing a quality player and watching Amps, Watkins, Grimes, Chrisene and Jay Stansfield earning us good money and giving our academy such a good reputation. There's more in the pipeline, too.
Clearly we are a better club.
Yep even Trevor Francis couldn't be bothered with his home town club

If Jake hadn't hit a poor back pass Joel wouldn't have had the chance, if my auntie had....

Yes we were done a kipper alright but if we’d had a proven goalscorer up front it wouldn’t have happened in the first place.
..........Spot on.

That it was a hypothetical comment. You could have pointed out almost any incident in the match and it would have been a different outcome. Law could have missed the penalty. The ref might not have given it. Williams might have gone too early and got caught offside. Anything could have happened differently in that game but they didn't, and we cained them.

Could have been more, we were all over them come the end.

According to The Telegraph Brentford are asking for £28m.
Yeah 28 million is the figure doing the rounds now, wrong to be greedy though, 25 million would be just fine.

Now that many Prem players are off on international duty, I expect this is the time to concentrate on recruitment?

Not with Aston Villa still trying to get him for eighteen million you won’t.It would be nice to see someone actually put some money on the table , because up to now it’s all been a rumour based on a rumour which was based on a rumour. Some rags are still carrying the 18M release clause nonsense , maybe that’s why AV only want to pay that amount.😀I’d laugh my socks off if some other club came in and pinched him from under their noses because most of their supporters seem to think it’s a done deal.
Anyway , it would be good to see some real news before this thread becomes a yawn fest like the Ampadu off to Chelsea thread.
