Really nice to see such good sentiments shared on this thread.

His contribution to the last three years will never be forgotten by Torquay supporters. A true footy fan living the dream and a great loss to TUFC and the local community.

I am not in favour of the Lottery because of the selfish urges it brings out of people- but Paul Bristow was the total opposite of the greedy self-indulgent winners. He struck the balance between financial generosity and self-effacement perfectly, and was a great advertisement for the good that sudden huge wealth could be put to. Also goes to show it guarantees nothing in this life. Sad sad day for his family, town and community.
