I don't know dommers. I'm not privvy to knowing whether it ever got as far as him being able to say he didn't want to go.

IIRC, Tis said that it was worth more to the club to have him around for the remainder of the season for a possible promotion push than the (pathetic) money Brighton were offering (who were of course aware that they could get him for nowt in June).

I thought Harley made that clear when he left Swansea for Brighton. Quote: "Perhaps I should have come here in January.". Indicates that he could have but chose not to.
