City should play at the grounds of the best non league teams in Devon. As a PR exercise they should play these teams as they are in the ECFC catcment area.

Exmouth Town (East Devon)

Tiverton Town (Mid Devon)

Bideford (North Devon)

Buckland Athletic (South Devon)

Plymouth Argyle (South West Devon/Cornwall)

Who would live in a house like this?
Anything would be an improvement on the farse of the Norway tour.
LOG will tell you that farce should be spelled with a 'c'.

I agree with Jay too, total waste of time and only the 'privileged' could see City in action vs sh*te Norwegian sides.
In what way privileged? I didn't see the 3rd match, but the first two sides were quite handy, the first one in particular would have been L2/BSP standard and the second BSP/BSS. Both of which are higher than what would be proposed.

You will never really be able to value the worth or otherwise of the trip, and especially if you weren't there it would be even more conjecture.

We came back looking as unfit as any previous Tisdale team. Add to that the amount of boggling injuries we have picked up (poor preperation). It was a waste of time and money.

In RaWZ we trust....Amen.
With the squeeze on the playing budget due to falling crowds,i expect a pre season tour will go the same way as the Grecians participation in the reserve league..

I don't see how not going on the tour would have solved the fitness item, one would assume the routine would have been the same regardless of location.

As for time, well the time is the same anyway and money, who paid for it?

I agree with that. Would like a tour of some LOW teams perhaps...... or some organised tournament somewhere, akin to the one in North Devon the other year.
