The simple sammidges are the best :

Ham salad
Cheese and chutney
Toasted cheese and onion
Tuna with mayo
Roast beef and mustard

If you have too many flavours it's true they can add to the taste, but can also cancel each other out

I tried a fresh cheese, pickle and ham sandwich for the first ever time today. Oh my lord the flavors blew my mind, incredible it really was. 10/10

Pastrami bit of thin cut tomato and mayo on doorstop white bread
Corned beef with small chunk pickle on tiger bread
Turkey rashers, beans, loads of thick cut fried mushrooms, fried egg and a pinch of salt on any bread that isn't healthy , Maybe even fry the bread ! Works very well for a hangover cure.
