The only way players can be treated on the pitch (without having to then go off for 30 seconds+) - thereby slowing down the game, enabling players to take a breather is if

- its the keeper injured or

- the player treated is subbed before the game re-starts. A maximum of 3 times, with 3 separate subs.

Astonishingly all 4 of those things happened with City this afternoon. Amazing coincidence
