Giving it a rest. Unneccessarily full of Japanese police at the moment. They seem to travel in quartets and Peace has to name all of them all of the time. Irritating when you are already suffering from culture shock and the usual Peace time shifts and mixture of interior and exterior monologues.

You're going to love it. :D

I had a nibble a while back, but was distracted, & had to return it to my 'to be read later' pile. Will try to read it in time for the publication of Part II

Just finished Eternal Light by Paul McAuley - demanding, especially at the start, but just about worth persevering with

Just started (the sadly late :() Jim Ballard's The Drowned World
