How late it was, how late by James Kelman. Part of my mission to read every Booker Prize-winning book. 4 down, 38 to go :D
One of Kelman's absolute best...& the best Booker winner by a f*cking c*ntry mile, but (as the appalled judges doubtless would have had Jim saying)

I used to work with Dave Gorman's brother.

This is, in fact, a FCAT, and not the title of a book I am reading. Perhaps it should therefore be transferred to the home of FCATs, ie, the 'did you know' thread...
