Unusual for me as I regularly purchase new albums but so far in 2010 there hasn't been one that's tickled my fancy.

Thanks in exile; I listened to Celtic Woman via their web site & you tube; now have songs from the heart; what beautiful songs from beautiful singers; gorgeous to listen to in the evening with a cup of tea and bar of chocolate; hubby was impressed too.

Sorry forgot to mention; love Gorillaz track Stylo; what's the rest of the album like?

Drive by truckers - big to do. I don't think this band are capable of producing anything less than fantastic albums. This one is more rocking than the last too, this f*cking job in particular is mint.

Nowr else captured my imagination yet this year though the new national album is on the radar as is joanna newsom's new one.

Jury is still out on 'Black Rebel Motorcycle Club'

Also

'The Magenectic Fields' album is pretty dire;

Wasn't at all impressed with 'Corrine Bailey Rae'.

'Smoking Popes'; 'Rob Zombie' & 'HIM' new albums are all very poor.

'Fear Factory' not got into that one yet; but have only heard it twice.

However

'You Me At Six' is singularly the worst album I have heard released this year.
