Wondering if I'm on a different planet
One thing is for sure, no longer are any of our players indispensable to the team. Swapping Sweeney, Aimson and Hartidge for Fitzwater, Diabate and Jules would offer a real freshness to the squad, and a kick up the backside to our defensive line. Play a team that don't concede. That's got to be the number one priority for Tuesday.
And switch to a proper defensive back 4 in a 4-4-2?

Are we sure the deckchairs are optimally arranged on this listing deck? Should we shuffle them around a bit?

We had a lot of warnings but it's not like there was much we could do as fans...

If Carlsberg did football clubs...
It's hard enough to spin and manage 5-0, 6-0, 7-0 & 9-0 losses when form is average. Let alone when it is within the worst form in over 20 years.

Would you expect your employer's to back you as you bark instructions at the shelf stackers, then get sent to the back office by the ombudsman for giving him both barrels in front of a cheering checkout queue? Do you make a point of going and clapping the people at the cigarette stand before you leave, then have to give an interview straight afterwards saying how brilliant they've been, giving their hard earned money for fags? Swings and roundabouts, isn't it?
Having worked for Tesco’s this is not too far off what happens. Hence I no longer work for them.

A Spireite here who equally suffered. We feel their pain.
I’m interested to know if there were any mitigating factors at your respective clubs e.g. boardroom or financial turmoil?

Was there something not right as you’d lost your previous managers or did they go on to bigger jobs like Matt Taylor did with us?
