I'm pretty perplexed by this 'yeh we should be just about ok' viewpoint which seems to be prevalent. We're in serious danger of going down, make no mistake.
We aren't safe until it is mathematically not possible for us to go down. ATM we are drifting in another barren run where we largely look terrible and our managers tactical nous is being exposed in massive neon letters above SJP

We've been struggling since Owen Goal and D Flection dropped off form.

D Flection didn't drop off today, it dropped in.

I hadn't even realised D Flection chipped in today, tbh. Hopefully he can kick on again from here, use it as a spring board.

D Flection and Owen Goal are doing well. Shame we can't get A Trialist back

Have we got him signed up for next season? If not does anyone know what his agent is demanding?

If we can't get him signed on, I reckon we should bid for Ric O'Shea. Similar skillset.

It really isn't. None of the teams below seem capable of doing anything. Its like having a bunch of Torquays under us.

We need to scrape 8 or 9 points for the rest of the season probably, even Caldwell can't **** that up.
But where are those points coming from? You have to gain every one of them, by hook or by crook, from a draw by not conceding or from a win by scoring more goals than your opponents. Neither seem to be on the cards at the moment, 27 goals scored in 40 games is pretty self-evidently failure. I suspect we *will* just about scrape enough points to survive, but assuming the teams below us will be even worse is not a strategy.
