A very special guy have spoken to him many times City through and through.
Thought for a while he could well be a future City manager!

Agreed, when he does finally hang his boots up could quite easily see him staying with the club with future coaching rolls etc.

On and off the pitch, probably the finest professional footballer this club has ever produced. Love the man.

Dean is an all round fantastic professional football player, throughout his career he has played full back, left of the midfield, up front and more recently centre back and for me has excelled in every position, the season we got promoted against Cambridge he played in front of George at left back and the assists and goals he contributed for me made him player of the season that year, absolute love him!!! DEEEEANNOOOO!!!!

His goal yesterday was typical of those he scored in his first spell with City, lurking at the back stick either from a set play, or breakaway.
Top man!

It was a really good finish, one that top class strikers would be pleased with.

He has been playing well recently, competition from Parkes is probably one of the main reasons.

Deano's goal was yet another example of his fine "footballing brain" which enables him to read the game and place himself in exactly the right place at the right time.

He's a maverick, prepared to take on the oppos and wander into uncomfortable areas, sometimes this will result in him giving the ball away in dangerous positions, other times he will find himself making inciscive breakthroughs.

Matt's choice to use him, I'm happy to leave it to him!

Having a good season and we’re benefitting from having a very experienced head on his shoulders
