Well, imagine my joy when my boss tells me on Thursday that I am going to Exeter for a night stop on Saturday!
Depart Bahrain at 02:00 local. Arrived at Exeter airport at 06:40, put the aircraft to bed, met by my daughter and grandkids, not seen them since August, stayed with them for the morning and lunch then off to the match.
First thing to report....I was chuffin freezing on the Big Bank.
2, great turn out given the time of the year given that many people are skint.
3, we played too much hoofball first half.
4. Cambridge threw themselves to the floor far too easily, anyone else notice that teams are doing that a lot more when playing us?
5. Williams final ball is still shoite, always getting blocked after good work, I think Matt should try him in the middle as a support striker cos be is sharp.
Maybe give him a classic free role?
6. Why so many Turkish barber shops suddenly appeared in Sidwell street???
7. OMG so many rough sleepers, I don't remember it being like that in the past.
Then after a great 2-0 win, back to the Southgate to meet up with the rest of the crew for beer and curry,, perfect day
