Article in the media today saying the FA are to look into Accy's 'bonus structure' after it was revealed that after wins, club owner Andy Holt often buys all the players and staff Maccy D's and it can cost up to 200 quid a time out of his own money. Pathetic dullards in suits at the FA now investigating into possible breaches of rules about non disclosed bonuses to players.

Ridiculous.

Actually I believe it to be the EFL and not the FA, but your well judged comments are equally applicable.

I really struggle to comprehend the workings of Shaun Harvey's mind, or the parallel universe which he seems to inhabit.

Of all the clubs in our league, i'm genuinely delighted to see Accy get promotion (which they should do now). An amazing story. Could be Accrington v Sunderland at the Crown next season!

I assume this isn't the PFA one, which is voted for in about January.

Coventry fans, even before Monday, were slagging off Burge to the hilt and claiming their lack of a decent keeper will stop them being promoted.

Thing is at the end of the day if Andy Holt knows the rules with reference to bonus structures surely he is the man at fault !

And you have to admit any sort of extra bonus is an incentive to play that little bit better, The players who were bench warmers end up with a hot apple pie and the goalscorer ends up with a super-duper double deluxe burger with extra cheese and fries.

Who's to say this is the only extra bonus they get though !
