We are all assuming this is a done deal and we are just waiting for the formal announcement. However, is there any chance the delay means the deal has fallen through?
No.

Seeing a contract through to the end, going at the end of a season that's what a proper chap does.

Hopefully Wayne will see this as an opportunity rather then looking to leave. I guess if we do not as him to be an interim for now then maybe he will leave.
Wayne Carlisle is not the answer

Well they had their best results of the season on Saturday after he had gone!
His performance as the manager was 3-5-2. If that is sacking form then really the game is fked.

Maybe not but he has been a constant during Matt's managerial success. Matt recognises this and that's why he has taken Wayne with him.

Should have played 4-4-2 or 4-5-1.

This is football where a managers contract is only as good as the last result. When a club from a higher league recognises your managers quality and offer a long contract and triples their income you either step aside or match the deal. The latter is football suicide as we found out with Tis who ended up almost unsackable.

Maybe not, but im desperate for him to stay....the style we play isn't 100 per cent all Taylors doing. Carlisle has more input than im sure he gets credit for.
