Does anyone actually know the monetary interest we have in ollie Watkins?

Are we due anything at all?
Sigh...

It goes something like this. We sold Ollie to Brentford for £1.8m with a sell on of 15% of any profit they make.

Brentford sold Ollie to Villa for £28m with add-ons up to £5m, triggered by Villa staying up / Ollie scoring for England etc.

So 15% of £33 - £1.8m = £4.56m assuming all those add-ons are achieved.

Now, if Brentford also have a sell-on of say 10% of any profit Villa make and Villa sell Ollie to Bayern for £60m then Brentford will get 10% of Villa's profit of £27m (£2.7m) and because Brentford's profit increased we should be entitled to 15% of that £2.7m... £405k.

Think the definitive stats of the % we could earn should be pasted somewhere because every single time a rumoured transfer of Ollie comes up we get the same question ie "What's in it for us"

Seems cheap given that Spurs paid nearly that for Richarlison
If things ran on the basis of what Spurs thought when we'd all be doomed.

Indeed.Anything in the coffers would be welcome but I’m more interested in what we’d get for Amps if Chelsea decided to let him go in the summer. Before anyone goes into the actual calculations , I do know them , I’m more interested in the actual fee they’d demand for him. Ten million would be a nice starting point , now a percentage of that would really set us up for the coming season.

And a deal done nice and early in the close season so the manager can have lots of time to spend the windfall.

Surprised no one has mentioned upto now that Toney is going to be out for 8 months due to gambling. This is good news for Ollie who will surely get more of a look in to the England squad now. Are we owed any more money if he does play for England?

Plus England have got 8 scheduled matches to play between now and the end of the calendar year.

No more money to come unless he is transferred for more than £33M.

Ollie will be a sub at best for England and may not get into the squad. Especially if Abrahams comes back to a PL club.

Lukaku has proved Serie A is not the same level as the PL.
