When we got relegated the talk in the paper wasn't about whether he'd be sacked but whether he would choose to stay with us or not. He couldn't be in a safer job.
To be fair the local media, E & E and WMN have played a small part in where we are today, they have been too used to pussyfooting around the likes of Tisdale and Perryman in case they are on the end of one of the spoilt brat like outbursts we are now so accustomed to, perhaps if they had been more bullish / critical things may be slightly different.

So get someone else in and you don't think they could do better than 3 years of consecutive lower plaved finishes? I would say it isn't debatable at all, it's a definite.
Could do they five years of consecutive higher finishes?

What a pointless comment coz Tisdale certainly can't these days.

Well someone may get another go when we are back in the conference.

That is a p1$$ poor comment though as we have had three years of the exact opposite.

Woolworths made money years ago, what happened to them ??

Do you actually read what you are typing MJP ??

Short term a new manager may not do a lot better simply because he would inherit literally everything Tisdale has ever done.
Not necessarily so. Under a new manager the players enthusiasm could be rekindled to a greater degree once free of Tisdale's tactics and criticisms.

How often do you seen teams flourish once someone new has been brought in.

I did say may Stuffy however I do agree with you.

We need a fresh voice, a fresh approach, something a bit different to put a bit of life back in and around the place.

To give you a sensible answer, possibly but unlikely.

The first goal for anyone is to stop this three year downward spiral and maintain our league status.

Has she even seen a Tisdale team play ??
Add '/he' to the sentence above and you could refer it to a whole host of posters on here. Doesn't stop them voicing their opinion does it Missy. Because someone's opinion is different to yours, it doesn't make them wrong, except of course in your opinion.

Prior to this current downward spiral we had decades of downward spiralling even to the extent of falling out of the League and going bankrupt. It's our history. It doesn't mean that it must be like that. But until we own our own stadium again, it's going to be bloody difficult getting out of the s**t.

IT was pointless in a sense but you want the club to move forward and Tisdale has proven he can take the club forward on a limited budget before. Any manager coming in would have to have a track record of working with limited budgets. There are plenty of managers who fit the bill. Whether they would do better or not we wont know unless we make a change. Ultimately when dealing with hindsight that some of you do you can always be correct. Also if you predict Exeter will be rubbish then you are not always gona be a million miles off because we have been for 110 years bar the odd season or few years. We have proven that the majority of the time we are not capable of competing at the top of league 2 consistently let along in league one. The only league we have been competitive at the right end of the league was the conference and even then we did not make the playoffs 3 out of the 5 seasons we where in that league. Albeit the massive financial problems we had in the first few years would have played a large part in that.

As for what Stuffy says i think its been scientifically proven that in most cases changing a manager does not effect the longer term results but in some cases can have a short term effect. I maybe remembering that incorrectly though.
