The novelty for me has worn off a bit now this happens every summer.

Never wears off for me, that’s our grass.

I suppose because they skim the grass and reseed then they can't resell as turfs, also would have to import more soil as well as sand I'd imagine making it more expensive. Shame would have been loverly basking in the sun on my own piece of SJP on Dartmoor!

The state of our pitch last season was outstanding. I was watching the Soccer Aid game last night and could not believe the state of Chelsea's pitch! For a Premiership club i would be embarrassed of the state of the pitch if i was a fan.
