After the Charlton match a fan posted the following on their Charlton Life forum.

"A huge shout out to the groundsman. The weather has been appalling and I'm sure that you would have seen all the flooded fields on the way to Devon. The pitch was superb in the circumstances, it held firm with no mud and almost 100% grass cover."
