Now, Im certainly no expert in these matters but isnt this how all eventual investment would begin, with someone making enquiries?Nick also covered the rumours of offer being made for the club and the ‘members’ not being consulted. He categorically stated that no detailed offers have been received. There had been a few vague enquiries, none of which had developed to the point of any offer being made.
me too as well as DebraNo, I voted for him
He did expand in this. There was an enquiry via a third party from a ‘Brazilian consortium’. The Trust asked for details, none were forthcoming. Now, Im certainly no expert in these matters but isnt this how all eventual investment would begin, with someone making enquiries?
It's all very well saying no detailed offers had been made but if someone has enquired then what were they told? A potential investor(s) isn't going to come and slap a detailed plan on the table, initially they're going to find out if the club would be open to investment and how that may look.
Considering our shared history, that is very interesting. He did expand in this. There was an enquiry via a third party from a ‘Brazilian consortium’. The Trust asked for details, none were forthcoming.
I got the impression that it was scamster rubbish. 'Brazilian Consortium', yeah right.....He did expand in this. There was an enquiry via a third party from a ‘Brazilian consortium’. The Trust asked for details, none were forthcoming.
He was also clear that if a detailed and realistic offer were to be made it would be put to Trust members.
Yes I had the same impression.I got the impression that it was scamster rubbish. 'Brazilian Consortium', yeah right.....
Nick actually cited an example where a Brazilian consortium made general enquiries via the FA, the club responded to ask what their offer was and heard nothing more from them. Now, Im certainly no expert in these matters but isnt this how all eventual investment would begin, with someone making enquiries?

Maybe they did a bit of research and realised we don't own a ground to develop for housing.....Nick actually cited an example where a Brazilian consortium made general enquiries via the FA, the club responded to ask what their offer was and heard nothing more from them.
