MacDonald looks class
Absolutely.
The best signing of the window - some moments of great quality.

Point was fair, not a bad game but we couldn't unlock them. Shrewsbury didn't look like a side who have won 6 in a row, and didn't seem that bothered in going for it in the end.
Thought we could have brought Sam on earlier and not sure about bringing on anyone deep into injury time.
Oh well, better than Saturday

It was very entertaining for a 0-0 and either side could have won it. Sure you were at the right game?
I was watching a training session of attack vs defence with no end product. Most of the time the ball was not in play and the ref was happy to let players hang on to the ball for nearly a minute at a time all match.

If that's Caldwells style of play then I've seen enough already. Slow, no tempo passing it for passing sake. Any half decent team is back in shape as we go sideways and back.

Nombe not getting on until 81st minute. Key playing 4 separate positions in one game. Bringing on two subs with a minute left.

The while approach is bereft of any aggression and is extremely boring and predictable to watch.

Agreed. Sideways back with no end product. Far from entertaining football.

At last, a back 4! 3 in midfield, two wide and one lone Stanno up front, running around to little effect..

Then Scott come on for a straightforward 4 4 2 and finally Sam for a 5 2 3 ( or 3 4 3 if you prefer).

Nicely set up to play much quicker, crisper football ( this might have something to do with Caprice not being on the field). But both the wide players (Key and Mitchell) were largely ineffective in producing any dangerous crosses. And Stanno is not a lone target man

But the back four were good and solid, all four of them. This includes left back Grounds who looked assured. Hartridge was immense and Bowman was useless.

But man of the match by a country mile was MacDonald who totally dominated the midfield. Just the player we've been crying out for.

Still going in the right direction. Work needed in the final third

In the middle of this league tis Dog Eat Dog - sadly our players like steak !
Another 2points lost because we can't take chances - if Shrews had taken theirs we would have lost by country mile.
New signings make little difference to what we have - hope a certain legal case goes our way or goodbye Project 6000 !

What a stupid post. If we’d taken our chances we would have won by a country mile. According to the stats they had 10 shots to our nine and we had three on target to their one.
