I'm not fully acquainted with the specifics of how the club is run, etc. but to have someone who is supposed to be a financial 'watchdog' being paid for by the club does sound a bit iffy!

Fair point - but being loaned to Leeds or Saints sounds totally plausible. If it said Man Utd, AC Milan or Barcelona then that would smell fishy. I initially posted as wondered if anyone knew about this potential loan or if it was nonsense, that's all.

I remember that match. The days of Alan Ball and Gary Chapman. Coaches left Exeter around 5:30am. We were abysmal but managed to stay up by skin of our teeth.
