Ray Davis of the Kinks wrote it. Though I don't I've heard that version. Not read all comments but thought the atmosphere was good yesterday.

There's nothing wrong with the "we hate argyle" song when we're playing them. Not read all comments but thought the atmosphere was good yesterday.

I think Andy might have more of a sense of humour than yourself MattAndy H will speak for himself, but you've highlighted, in your "taking the ****" way just some of the ways in which he benefits YOUR club.
I always see the funny side of you.I think Andy might have more of a sense of humour than yourself Matt
To be fair this logic could be applied to many a song, like the “cider” chant or “sing a song for our Stanno” etc, not sure it matters about what the opposition thinks of our songs, they’re tailored for our fan base…There's nothing wrong with the "we hate argyle" song when we're playing them.
When we're playing anyone else, does anyone think that the opposition supporters care?

The fans are supportive of the team even when they are struggling. None of the players suffer in the way that Harry Maguire did for England. Do people think that booing will improve the performance of their team? From the polite applause end of the spectrum.
I was a bit uneasy with the clapping by the team at the start - it reminded me of Don Revie's Leeds. But I am on board now. I have always remained stood at my seat after the match to applaud the players at the end whatever the result. I appreciated Gary applauding after the Orient game. The end of game celebration is great.
That would make a good chant.I always see the funny side of you.
