lost quite a few players to Yeovil - which i suspect is down to the lack of money
wages of 6k a week on crowds of 650ish - they say they need at least 1000 to break even
doesn't take a genius to work out why they are tight with money
According to a release from the club, its a PAYE issue that they are in contact with HMRC & the National league about.. lack of money due to having not played very few home games for about 2 months has affected the income they need to pay players wages
we could be deeper in the mire after this weekend
Wigan vs Reading
Cheltenham vs Carlisle
Wigan to win would be a better result & a draw for the other..otherwise if Reading & Cheltenham win we drop into the bottom 4 again
i wonder if we were making money in league 2 and now with the increase in wages & exterior cost's associated with being in League 1 we are now losing money! and that is why they would be happy to return to the lower division!
You make a mistake - you learn from it!
only a fool continues to make the same mistake.
so lets learn and move him on and start again before we give him our money to spend as well
Surely we need him to stop leaking goals before worrying about the other end, he needs to go as we need someone with fresh idea's and i am a person that thinks teams sack managers too easily!
Taylor stepped out of his comfort zone and you have to commend that! stepping back never goes well, so Keep moving and find your next challenge - its not here at City
I think we have missed an opportunity to start building a new ground and instead upgraded St James Park, that money we will never recover.. where to put it - now there's the question? maybe near the airport as long as its near the railway?
I think the worst thing we have done is put the kids out against Reading and suffer such a heavy defeat! it puts doubt throughout the whole squad that the players they are seeing in training everyday are not good enough to replace any players that suffer injuries and i wont have to try as hard...
Yes I appreciate we are on a bad run, but constant sacking the manager achieves nothing apart from an empty bank account and players that the next manager doesn't want! if when the transfer window opens and we are bottom then maybe its time to pull the plug and give someone the time to bring...
